Karl H Richter is a founder of EngagedX Ltd, which provides consulting services in sustainable finance and social impact investing. He leads iSumio, the software development studio of EngagedX. iSumio  developed the novel Neoni App for carbon emissions accounting, referenced as exemplar by central banks. He lectures part-time at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, specializing in ESG and Impact Investing as well as carbon emissions accounting. 

Previously he served a 12-month assignment as Head of Research and Knowledge for the UNDP SDG Impact Finance initiative (UNSIF); was a member of Groupe d'Experts de la Commission sur l'Entrepreneuriat Social (GECES) of the European Commission to advise on its Social Business Initiative; and was part of the OECD expert group on social impact investing. He is currently Senior Fellow at the Finance Innovation Lab; and Adviser to several organisations.
