David Janků is an Advanced AI Researcher, Centre for Future Generation where he focuses on institutional designs for the strategic development of AI in Europe, disentangling AI hype from reality, mapping expert debates on risks, and advancing the case for a science of safe AI.

Before joining CFG, he founded and led Effective Thesis, an international non-profit organisation dedicated to help students build high-impact research careers by aligning their academic pursuits with pressing global challenges.
