Sara Hobolt

Sara Hobolt is professor of political science at the London School of Economics and Political Science, known for her research on elections, public opinion, and European politics. She is also Chair of the European Election Study and President of the European Political Science Society. A Fellow of the British Academy, she has published widely on referendums and political behaviour. Her most recent book, co-authored with James Tilley, is Tribal Politics: How Brexit Divided Britain (Oxford University Press, 2026).
